Teens, masters, and adaptive athletes take center stage in Columbus and Vegas this August and September.
2025 CrossFit Games: Celebrating All Athletes
CrossFit once again takes a bold step in honoring diversity in fitness by showcasing three major events: the Masters, Teenage, and Adaptive CrossFit Games. These competitions are independently organized, yet fully supported by CrossFit HQ, and represent a clear expansion of the sport beyond elite individual categories.
Age Groups on Center Stage
From August 21 to 24, Columbus, Ohio, will host both the Masters CrossFit Games by Legends and the Teenage CrossFit Games by Pit Teen Throwdown. Athletes aged 35 to 70+ will compete for the title of Fittest in their division, demonstrating that age is no barrier to performance. At the same time, the top teens in the world, ages 14 to 17, will take the floor, representing the next generation of talent in the sport.
These events not only validate age-based competition, but also celebrate the lifelong nature of CrossFit training.
Inclusion at the Core: Adaptive Games
From September 12 to 14, the Adaptive CrossFit Games by WheelWOD will take place in Las Vegas. Athletes across various ability divisions, including visual, seated, neuromuscular, and more, will compete in workouts designed for fairness, challenge, and representation.
This championship is a powerful reminder that fitness has no limits, and inclusion is not an afterthought, it’s foundational.
CrossFit’s Broader Vision
These three events form part of the ecosystem that reflects CrossFit’s evolving identity: more inclusive, more global, and more aligned with community values. Whether you're 14 or 74, elite or adaptive, there's now a space to compete, connect, and celebrate movement.
